Haha well I'm certainly not saying that she is right, I'm just saying she isn't as wrong as what people seem to believe. The founders did work to end slavery in different ways, just not "tirelessly". The most accurate portrayal of history on this subject would be to say that even though the founders disagreed with slavery, slavery was tolerated by the congress and nation as a whole during that time period.
