my friend did this for 3 minutes first time trying but he does a lot of weighted squats so your legs are obviously lagging behind your stronger upper body
idk what tyle your study, but just a offer of advice from one martial artist to another...try on spreading your legs a little wider then sholders, then squat we do tha in my style and then try to stand up slow its like you doing double the work....longest time i held it perfect form was 1 min 48 sec...and it burns in a good way not the STD way lol
instead of increasing your time increase your form if it hurts more your doing it with better form when you can hold it without it hurting for 30 mins then it is not helping you anymore so iprove your form.
