hmm zhan zhuang is for training internal power. Relax your whole body, including ur legs, mentally and emotionally too. Fists at waist but relaxed. Posture must be correct. Mouth is slightly open. Concentrate on your dantien and take low and relaxed breaths. After that you must do Flowing Breeze, Swaying Willows. It's good to do "lifting the sky" 20 times before each horse stance training.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in the horse stance, shouldn't your feet be pointing 90 degrees in different directions?
