Just a day after Cabinet Minister John Munyes was accused by the Southern Sudanese government of conducting espionage activities on behalf of the Khartoum government, the President of Southern Sudan Salva Kiir was in the country to hold talks with President Mwai kibaki. While official statements from both sides appeared to down play or ignore the issue altogether, impeccable sources told Citizen TV that the matter had indeed been raised, with the Kenyan government promising to investigate.
