Nobody is saying that a person is inherently "illegal". When we say they are illegal, we mean their immigration status in the USA is illegal. So for short, we just call them "illegals".
And what laws would those be ie. referring to the anchor babies? The 14th ammendment of the U.S. Constitution was written specifically for freed slaves. It's language is VERY clear. Read it. It was never intended to grant citizenship to border jumpers who squat down and spit out babies on U.S. soil.
