*Disclaimer*
I do not support, nor advise trespassing on railroad property. I did so at my own risk, with no intent of bad doing or harm to equipment. This was purely for preserving history.

This is the first of a several part series that I will be posting of a stroll through the Waterville, ME yard on 05/17/09.
Here is a close up of an old Blomberg diesel locomotive truck. The traction motors and brake cylinders have been removed. But you can get an idea of size and construction with out an engine sitting on top of them.

  • @boatingman44 Thank you for your comment, and glad I was able to help. The railroad is on my case to remove this series of videos, as it proves I was trespassing. I did this series to capture and preserve what little history is left in that area, and as a modeler my self, you never know when you need some thing for reference. Railroads these days don't understand what good rail fans can do for them. Extra eyes and ears... And equipped to record things at will.

  • I can't begin to tell you how much this short video has helped me. I'm building a set of trucks for a 7 1/4' EMD GP40 and this is the only interior detail I've been able to find. For me it's excellent. The 20 plus screen captures came out perfect.

    Thanks a million.

    John
