  • Max von Sydow ♥

  • @ACruelPicture We all judge others every day of our lives. There's no way to avoid that. The point to remember is that the standards by which we judge others will be applied to us too so don't set an example of throwing stones at people for issues stones could be thrown at us for as well in similar circumstances.

  • The greatest story ever told is conan the barbarian.

  • My daddy coming Back...

  • They need to make a movie on the book of Revelation

  • Max Von Sydow was a bit weird as Jesus, but this film is very true to the gospels and worth watching.

  • George Stevens renowned great director with a great body of work such classics as The More The Merrier, Shane, Giant, A Place In the Sun, I Remember Mama undertook the story of Christ. As a Catholic, I appreciate Mr. Stevens fine film but the central casting of Max Von Sydow is a problem, too passive. I would have enjoyed Stephen Boyd.

George Stevens rented out the entire Desilu Culver studio to film this epic's

interior scenes in Hollywood and cast many a star including John Wayne.

  • I like "Jesus of Nazareth" better

  • "It may run for 40 years!" Not actual running time.

  • This isn't My Favorite Jesus Movie But it Beats Every Other one on the Trailer.
