Grunge really never went away, these guys never stopped making records and neither did Pearl Jam. Also the underground grunge scene is still alive and kickin in Seattle, Olympia, Portland and the rest of the PNW. Plus Screaming Trees, STP and Soundgarden all came out with new records in the three years. Grunge lives, you just have to look a little harder for it.
