Two men in a field for two hours with two paramotors (PPG) and about two minutes each in the air! At around only 300 feet my motor's cutch bell tore itself off its fixings to the drive shaft in the reduction gear/gearbox which resulted in some nasty noises and total loss of power. Nick had an electrical fault and he too lost his motor. At least it was a nice evening and we were both well placed for an easy landing back where we started.
The take-offs and landings were pretty tidy and 100% on target ... even if I do say so myself.
Nick Crane & Lennie Pincher -- happy flying.

  • @ imasuper0308 - who is that comment aimed at? .. but I do agree that I don't want my vids used as a soapbox to sell a product & nor do I want anyone using expressions like "You Stupif F%&*" .. like TonyParamotor did. My friends & family read these notes! - please play nicely. :-)

  • yes .. that is what it turned out to be ... fixed now but since then have broken my prop. Silly mistake at take off a few weeks back.

  • What crap on my risers? .. it can only be the trimmers that you are referring to. Or the red balls are tip steering toggles.

  • my clutch bell came off it's drive shart & Nick had some kind of electrical problem

  • hello Tony - I have a PAP top80 & don't know what Nick has.

I wish I could watch a paramotor video and read the assosciated comments without having to read all your bullshit about the PPG stuff you seem to be selling! Why don't you shut up? You are polluting the Internet!

  • Ah yes, a major catastrophic type noisy noisy squeally noise mechanical failure? That'll be the clutch bell tearing itself off the fixings then. . . . . . Nice landing tho.

  • @TONYPARAMOTOR The Flat Top is made in the USA. What have you been smoking? It is all about failure rate. No unit is perfect but nothing has the reliability of a Flat Top. Kinda like the black hawk that just tried to fly across the country but broke down so much he had to change units. The Flat Top is awesome, certainly not perfect but the new Flat Top Ninja is the best I've ever seen.

  • @imasuper0308 RIGHT FACT THE FLAT TOP IS MADE IN ITALY.NOT MADE IN USA. SOTHE ITALIANS HAVE A UNIQUE.EXCLUSIVE FAILURE FREE ENGINE.UNLIKE THE ENGINES IN USA.WHERE U FROM A AGIAN IMASUPER0308?YOU STUPID FUCK.

  • What's all that crap on your risers?

  • 'Flat Top' My arse! what was the cause of the engine failure?
