Process Art, Maddie and Caleb 2009

This year we made a book of the children's art work made in 2009. Art making is definitely a family affair. Titled, The Window, the forward reads:

Process art brings joy, creativity, playfulness, challenge, social connection, and sensory stimulation to our unpredictable and sometimes chaotic days. This work represents a physical record of our play, and contains glimmers of the senses, emotions and intellect snapping to attention in the heightened moments of engagement. Most of the work in this collection is not an interpretation, or representation, but rather an expressive moment when paint, fingers, and paper collide. It is a window into our world and we wanted to share it with you.
