TAB AVAILABLE, READ ON...This is my variation on the famous Dark Side of the Moon conclusion. I've gone Dropped D tuning so the bassline is a bit more like the studio recording than the "normal" acoustic version. In fact, I tried to play it getting more of the studio recording sound throughout. I hope I don't offend any Floyd fans, I know we tend to be a passionate lot.
Eclipse is quick'n'dirty, I didn't try to do anything clever with it just round the tune off. One day I might revisit it and make it feel a bit more climactic. For now, though, that's it ;)
You'll find it tricky on both the left hand and the right hand, tip - don't try to hit the D chord formation in one go, lay down only the F# then lay down the D and A on the next beat; you don't need them until them. Watch how I do it if that didn't make any sense. And yes, it is hard to play cleanly, I still can't ;)

you got a touch of old ragtime style in there not sure where that inspiration came from. all the same like some of the different voicings you prefered for this
One of my favorites on YT, Jaw. Thx. You said you are a Floydian from way back. Do you have any other favorites from other albums that you know well enough to post? Some of their later stuff, like "Lost for Words" has killer guitar lead ins and and would be a great solo guitar piece w/some work.
Thanks WotW! I think there are three types of Floydians - the Syd Barretts, the Roger Waters and the Dave Gilmours. I fall under the Roger Waters type; which means I'm mostly limited to Meddle through to The Final Cut. Although I appreciate what Dave continued to do I don't really follow it; and I was born too late to be into Syds stuff ;)
I can fumble my way through DSotM, WYWH and The Wall...but only the ones I can do well I've posted here.
I know he a bassist, no need to call everyone dumbass, chill out. What do you have to prove? Nothing. good. We are all humans. And sorry if I didn't knew he was playing the hard way!
