@deanmill2 your wrong man this MOCKUMENTURY was created to discredit him. in almost every case that they bring experts to disqualify his works he isnt givin a fair chance for rebuttal and wen they do show him giving a rebuttal its taken out of context and skewed in a way that he agrees with the opposition. i dont know if u have read any of his books but if u had u would know that mr. hancock does have very good intellectually driven arguments for his case of a lost civilization.

@mcufre If scientific theories didn't change with the input of new evidence, the scientific method would be worthless.
-
@indio2dr We have given scientists god like status, never forget that scientists also create theories and often they need to change them because they were wrong. And when this happens there's enormous resistance because it means that these people cant keep making money doing what they always did and need to reshape their views entirely. Some would be out of work if their field of research would become antiquated. A good example is the neutrinos traveling faster than light situation right now.

@deanmill2 He's not a scientist therefore it should be treated as an opinion, just like Rogan he makes ridiculous claims yet nobody challenges him on it because DUH he's not a scientist.
-
@indio2dr Look man, Scientist or not he has made some crazy claims and not backed them up very well. I think it’s too bad because he seems like a really smart guy but his methods are just sloppy. Anyone who puts forward an idea or theory should expect criticism, learn from it, and in some cases realize that they’re wrong and move on. My problem is he just keeps on going in this direction in spite of overwhelming evidence against him, the BBC calls him out and people get pissed.

@joelberggren1 I have an open mind about psychedelics; So what IS he saying about them?
-
@TrianosDellas Well first, I don't think hes is much of a "legitimate" scientist. And it just seems sort of off and a little comical that a man who almost single-handedly discovers ancient civilizations and all of these amazing far out things also experiments with mushrooms. He says he tried the same hallucinogen seven times. I mean it doesn't seem like each time he was scientifically documenting each experience. But i was just kinda being a smart ass anyways... maybe he was.

Is this the first version or the 2nd version of the programme? Haerd about this on Joe Rogan too!
Awesome seeing so many Rogan podcast fans. I am a teacher and try to hint to kids about how we need to think openly about everything and drop the ego a little bit. I don't endorse any particular viewpoint, but the concept of mental freedom are so fundamental that I don't have to be "controversial" to get my point across many times over.
