@horrormoviefan1984 New Line Cinema (the company that made all the ANOES films) took over the FT13 films after Jason takes mannhatten. So they had all the rights to all the ANOES films but only Jason goes to hell and Jason X (which does not count as it is set it the future) from the FT13 series. They tried to work out a deal with the company who did own all the rights to Friday's 1-8 but they were not able to work out the deal. So they had to film a completly new intro for Jason.

@horrormoviefan1984 - Jason doesn't talk. And if you think about it, the film doesn't need to have a montage of Jason's old films because FVJ pretty much is a Jason montage since he gets almost all the kills.
