Again the emphasis is on riding lines, the use of your eyes and an opening rein and outside leg to keep the horse on the line. It is important to get the jump appropriate to the next fence. At the beginning, Jamie gets too deep to the oxer, which makes the wanted six strides to the treble not viable. She circles and gets a better distance the second time. The exercise is six strides from the oxer to the treble and then six strides again from the treble to the skinny vertical. Certainly it could be done in seven strides, but that is not the exercise on this occasion.
Great rider.. and super coach.. fantastic exercise!

i like this pair much better than the first horse and rider. she is much more polished and smooth in her riding and a more pleasure to watch than the first rider.
