Excellent Video! I really enjoyed it. If you're interested in these subjects you may also like the work being done by BEWARE OF IMAGES. It's a feature-length, animated documentary about the history of visual representation. The movie explores the intricate relationship between the technology, regulation and social effects of mass media. Its aim is to serve as an educational and entertaining media literacy tool that can be enjoyed by everyone.

@drewilson Black men in urban areas started to put on the "tough act" because they felt it was the best way for them to gain respect in their community (this ideology is believed to have emerged through movies like The Godfather). Eventually, this "tough" act became mainstream through hip-hop/rap and the emergence of BET/MTV. White men have begun to immitate it... causing a vicious cycle of violent masculinity through all ethnicities in the USA. That clip shows a white man acting "black."

@radioheed Actually proportionally women are vary rarely the victims of violence. In fact the more violent the crime the more likely the victim will be male.. If the problem is truly brought about by a social construct then the actual focus should be on stopping male on male violence.
Did you know access to resources is proportionally related to male crime i.e. poverty stricken areas? Did you know much of male crime is to acquire resources?

@carolmeyers Actually it is women who abandon their families with 70+ percent of ALL divorce initiated by women. Divorce is rarely initiated by men and even less often when there are children involved.

I've seen part of one of these educational videos. I think they are great. It is about time that men are freed from having to suppress emotions other than violence. I demand equality! It makes us all better people.
Love and peace to all.
