Barack's Message for Hispanic Heritage Month

I think it is interesting that Obama makes this address to hispanic people. Just last week he released an attack ad against John McCain targeting Hispanics. The ad was in spanish. I guess he though most American's wouldn't be able to understand it. In the ad, he quoted Rush Limbaugh. Big quotes on the ad said "Stupid and unskilled Mexicans" and "Shut your mouth or get out." He went on to tie Limbaugh directly to John McCain.


The problems here are many. The most glaring problem is that the Limbaugh quotes were taken out of context. The context makes it easily clear that this is not what Limbaugh meant or believes. The quotes were taken from parodies (paradies!) where Limbaugh was sarcastically sticking it to people who actually think these things. It is easy to tell from reading/listening that they were from parodies of what other people (people Limbaugh does not agree with) think.


Also, anyone who has listened to Limbaugh at all knows that he is NOT a staunch supporter of McCain. He didn't get on the boat until Palin - a true conservative - was invited to be McCain's running mate. And he still gives McCain a hard time about things like his illegal immigrant policy of all things.


Also, this ad was in Spanish. To apply for citizenship of the US, you must speak English. You must be able to read, write, speak, and understand spoken English. Its on the application. So who was Obama targeting with this ad? Illegals? I dont know but its possible. English is certainly good enough to target citizens of the US. Its the required language. Dont tell me illegals can't vote. With all the crazy voter fraud that goes on, they most certainly can and do.

Barack Obama says he's the candidate for change. He says he's the post-racial candidate. Then why did he release an ad like that. And now, this one singing a completely different song. I'm with Palin. I dont care for a candidate that will say one thing to your face and then, behind your back, say you "cling to guns and religion."
