This is simple tutorial on how to overclock any ATI 5850 with MSI Afterburner.

What you need to get:
- ATI 5850 (I'm using HIS model)
- MSI Afterburner
- GPUTool (for testing an overclock). You can use MSI Kombustor or Furmark, if you prefer them.

**** To unlock the voltage box in Afterburner settings follow this! ****
1. go into your program files and open up the MSI afteerburner folder. (c:/program files/ MSI Afterburner)

2. Open the MSIAfterburner CFG file with notepad

3. Find this line: EnableUnofficialOverclocking
- change the value it has been set to from 0 to 1

4. Save the file and reset Afterburner if you have it running.

My overclock settings are:
- Voltage: 1200
- Core Clock: 1000
- Memory Clock: 1100

THE SETTINGS ARE NOT STABLE! This was meant as a quick tutorial on how to overclock a 5850.
