He fell to the ground. When he stood up to run again, he was shot a second time.Saturday's Hamas raid on a Fatah stronghold was party of an intensifying crackdown sparked by an explosion last week that killed five Hamas men and a six-year-old girl. The two groups have engaged in a bitter an often violent rivalry for several years. It culminated in Hamas' violent takeover of Gaza last year. Fatah's power has largely been erased. It controls only the West Bank.
