(May 26)Tragedy struck just moments after this American tourist was caught-on-tape walking around in a daze. Authorities say this Italian man chatted with the 74-year-old California man and his wife. A short time later-- he bought the couple cappuccinos at a local cafe which he allegedly laced with a mix of drugs, including sleeping pills. Then investigators say he robbed the couple... and left them wandering around a Rome train station in a confused state. The California man-- who was apparently looking for his wife-- walked onto the tracks early Friday and was struck and killed by a train. His wife was briefly hospitalized. The couple had just finished a Mediterranean cruise and were heading to Hungary by bus. Police arrested the 54-year-old suspect Saturday. ___ ___, The Associated Press.

Italy's been a very dangerous place to be if you are a tourist...so many criminals prey for tourist, to rob them and in some cases kill them....if the Italian government does not protect tourist, they will suffer tremendously, as many businesses in Italy rely on tourism!
