The anemone isn't really aware of the relationship like the Clown is. Also, Clowns are immune to the anemone's toxins. And yes, it can move and it will when introduced. It will wander, find a place that it likes, and stay there. Just be careful not to overfeed them, or they'll grow too large.

i was planning on buying one but i hear it can turn against the clown fish hosting it and is aggressive towards any other fish n coral due to its frequent moving.....i really would want one, but dont want to put my other fish in danger

ok so im back for another question. im getting a 150 watt MH on my 37gal on monday and plan to get another condy for my clarkii(1st 1 died cus it was in my 10 gal, lasted abt 4 months though and within 3 weeks literally went from white to brown), but im wondering if i should get a mate for my clarkii or just leave it by itself?

@HaloKiller1166 I think if you can you should get him a mate..... Clarkii's get big but they are still scared easily and having a place to dart makes them so much happier. and besides it very fascinating to watch

probably not..... false perks are picky about their choice in nems. they might jump in and make a home but they usually only host in a nem from their natural range.

is that the same Anemone from your other vids, because this one has more color. i was planing on buying one at my lfs but all of them seem to be white with a purple tip of course but not like this mostly with color, do they get like this after a while?

@vdre3 yep its the same one! it took about two months to fully colour up and get nice and plump! I have read that most condy's lose the majority of their symboitic algea due to the stress of capture and transport. If the water quility and lighting is right the colour will come back!
