  • More tracking by the usual suspects...

  • Was this video made for people with ADD? Why did you speed it up? Why are you talking so fast? How could you possibly bore someone by logging into Gmail?

  • For most users it is a big deal. Lots of users uses same user/password tokens on different web sites.

Crack the right one, and you have access to lots of information.

With OpenID you only need one or two good passwords (if you use two different OpenID providers for different "security levels".

  • Advantages with OpenID? Many. For the user * Single sign on to all OpenID sites. * No need to store passwords on many sites. * Can have two OpenID accounts for different sites. * You could already have a OpenID account (Yahoo and Google has OpenID, as many other sites). * MUCH higher sercurity than user/password. etc For site admins * No need to handle users that forgot passwords. * No need to protect user names/passwords. * The security of user accounts is in the hands of users. etc
  • hm... remembering passwords isn't really a big deal... if you mix in certain things like domain name attributes into your strong password, you can easily have unique passwords for each site, keep it easy to remember and keep your various accounts unconnected. Internet anonymity FTW! :D

  • One more login/password to remember -- but many sites allow you to log in with it, so perhaps it will save you some login/password combinations.

A handful of sites will only allow you to use OpenID to log in. (Off the top of my head, twitterfeed is one)

  • the year of the open id>>

  • What are the advantages of OpenID? Are there any privacy issues with it?
