@EduSanjuan777 It will be a cold day in hell when Hitachi, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Rolling Stock Company, Kinki Sharyo, Nippon Sharyo build a train designed in Germany."The trains distinctive shape was based on a futuristic design made for Hitachi by the German designer Neumeister, back in 1990." there endeth the quote and the extent of the German input.
in spain we have a virtually identical Velaro E, an we use it exclusively on Barcelona-Madrid AVE high speed line, this Autumn we have cleared the ERTMS3 and 4 trains a day can reach 320 ,and they are coincidentally 16 car set .We expect to reach a regular service at 320, and 4 trains a day cleared to 350 km/h before 2013.They are coincidentally 16 car set also. I think both Velaros and 500 shinkansen are the most beautiful trains ever, and I have to concede they are both german designs
