President Carter speaks to the American people about the importance of an energy policy that focuses on conservation of the nation's natural resources and a new energy department. Carter also addresses his ideas to improve the economy and reduce the size of government.

@incrediblehulkmovies Not entirely... If you watch Obama's addresses they are not focused on citizen cooperation like our friend Carter. Obama's address is policy based where they will create policies to combat it. Carter alternatively focuses on citizens cooperation to combat it. They are going for the same thing but they are not singing the same tune.

People are hatin' on Jimmy because he couldn't quite fix the economy or solve the Iran hostage crisis. But his accomplishments outweighed his failures, and he set a damn good example for the American people. His energy policy was for our own good, he was trying to save our asses, but people now reject him as a failed president. Go figure
