The Longest Journey Review

First off, I'm sorry about the crappy video quality. I tried to get it better but nothing else worked.

This is my 5th review! Thanks to all of my subscribers. I've gotten over twenty in the past few weeks.

Next you'll see the Dreamfall:The Longest Journey Review as well as a special review. Which one will come first? I don't know.

Edit 3-22-08: I just realized I called the protagonist Sarah Ryan instead of April Ryan. I am well aware her name is April...I don't know why I said Sarah, but anyway enjoy the review.

As far as Adventure games go, this is probably THE best i have ever played! I played them on the Commodore 64, and on the Commodore Amiga over the years and although many come close to TLJ, ie... Future Wars, Operation Stealth, Battletech, Labyrinth..etc... oh the list goes on and on.

I find it odd that the reviewer says that its odd that things are drawn? But i guess that can be forgiven given his age. Anyway, nice review, and a phenomenal game! finished it back in 2001 but not forgotten

Yeah the reason I find the style odd is infact my age. I'm just not used to the hand drawn graphics, but I can't say I don't like it. It really adds a nice artistic touch to the game, and I think that's one of the reasons it's one of my favorite games of all time.

tell me in your opinion assuming u have good taste in click and point games. what are some real good ones that have a deep story and good voice acting or just funny not deep. ive been playing games as such for years and already have played broken sword 1 and 2 to death and evey lucas arts game. are there others out ther that u know of that are worthy of playing? because thers a lot of shit but something decent would be great. recently played syberia so not that ether.

I haven't gotten to play many good ones, and the reason I said Sarah was because the voice actress who plays her is Sarah Hamilton and I just got confused for a sec.

You could've read the description to figure that out, though.

This game stands on it's own, even way above it's follo9w up. Syberia came close,but I still mean not half as good as TLJ.

@blade004 I also love it but dont you think Syberia is a little bit better? Music, graphics, the way the story makes u feel? I don't know... i love TLJ 1 and 2 but i think Syberia 1 and 2 is better.

You made a mistake. There is more then 70 voice actors... not 20. ^^
