No man can come to me (Jesus Christ), except the Father which hath sent me (Jesus Christ) helkuō (drag/draw [verb]) him (the man): and I (Jesus Christ) will raise him (the man) up at the last day.
(Joh 6:44)

Note: The same verb helkuō is used in (Joh 21:6) where it is recorded: And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and you shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to helkuō it for the multitude of fish.

This video series has so many great clips that could be made from it, but I don't want to post it all in respect for Kielar and those with CrossTV. I may post another clip from this video, though.

To get this entire series (all 14 DVD's) go to: http://www.crosstv.com
(This is from the series called "How God Converts the Human Soul")

  • Instant favorite. 5 stars is NOT enough to give this excellent sermon by AW Pink. Its truth is at once so true, humblig and profound to make tears flow in praise an adoration to the sovereiign God who saves sinners of which I am most vile. I plan to redo this in Spanish. God bless for posting this gem of Christ's truth.

  • Michealaelgush, there is no Biblical argument against election. God sovereignty rules. Study Romans chapter 9. either you will believe it or reject it.

  • @foreverinchrist1 I agree God had the freedom to decide who He saves..... and who He does not save

  • @Blogrich55

Has He decreed an atheist to be an atheist, a satanist to be a satanist, a murderer to be a murderer, a child abuser to be a child abuser, a rapist to be a rapist etc. etc. etc.? You are obviously one of the elect who believes that you have forever been a sheep, even before the foundation of the earth. Or perhaps you thought you were a sheep whilst you were in fact a goat.

  • @lessingtom "It misrepresents the God of the Bible"

You obviously do not understand the God of the Bible. He is sovereign and loves His elect children. He is holy and the Moral Legislator of the Universe. He decides what the standard of ethics is for mankind. He is without body, parts, or passions. He has decreed whatsoever shall come to pass. He sent His Son to die for His sheep. Their salvation is guaranteed and cannot fail to come to pass.

YOUR god wants to save everyone but can't do it!

  • @Blogrich55

It's not excellent. It's a disaster. It misrepresents the God of the Bible.

  • @AlexfromNorway

NO one deserves salvation and yet God says: "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. [1Jn 2:2] NO! saith the modern-day Pharisees: "Jesus did not die for everyone. He only died for the elect." Oh, that's just great. That's just the greatest love I've ever heard of. Nonsense!

  • @AlexfromNorway

The one who gives glory to God is the one who pleases Him. Who pleases Him? "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (in order to be saved). [Heb 11:6]. You've got it all wrong, my friend.

  • @AlexfromNorway

You obviously do not know what Calvinism is. They believe that a totally depraved man, dead in his sins, cannot hear or respond in faith to the Gospel and needs to be sovereignly regenerated first before he can receive the gift of faith. Guess who receives the gift of faith? Yep! only the so-called elect because Jesus allegedly did not die for everyone. Blasphemy!

  • Jesus also said: "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." The very same word for "draw" in John 6:44 is used here which means that He compels all men to come to Him. Unless, of course "all men" refers to the elect only. OK now you may safely block me from your comment page as other Calvinists have done so compassionately on YouTube, among them 1tmoch.
