Girlfriend in a Coma - The Smiths Cover, Apogee Duet Demo

Add &fmt=18 to the end of the web address for Hi-Def. Johnny Marr makes a habit of making seamless melodies seem simple, but it's actually hellishly hard to do without sounding jerky. Maybe not the best song to try with testing the multitrack function of the Duet, but there was no way I could sing this one and play it at the same time so vocals were recorded separately - as you can see in the vid, the lips aren't moving. Both tracks were recorded with a Studio Projects C1 Large Diaphragm Microphone to an M-Audio DMP3 Mic Preamp to the Duet, and used Garageband for the mixdown. 1958 Martin 00-17 pulling acoustic duties.
