  • Nice Stang! But It sounds like the idle is a little high.

  • Thanks -- she was cold, and running about 13k rpm's. She kicks down to 10.5 when she warms up.

  • Best V8 sound. What muffler?

  • very true. but still the car is idling at what? 1200rpm maybe?

  • when mustangs are a little 2 high set rpm wise, it is very noticable.... This mustang is set just about right, it surely doesn't sound like it needs a timing gun or n e thing.

    Nice car and nice sound.p.s.

Sometimes if the gaps in your distributor are to big or to small it wil affect your overall performance. my mustang has no tires, but hopefully i get some soon!

  • aye .. change idle to around 750 when warm. far too high

  • He probably meant 1,300 rpm

  • Who cares what you two think ? The man has a nice car who you probably have never even driven. His stang sounds just fine, believe me, I have rebuilt over seven classic mustangs from Fastbacks to Coupes and Convertibles. Don't sell this car no matter what !!!

  • it idles cold at 13,000 rpm? im no engine builder but that seems just a tad high
