  • Thankyou so much everyone.

    You're very kind. THANKS!J.

  • Dear TrilliumArts,

Would have loved the rubato to be more expressive, but as I recall, the collaborative instrumentalist wanted more consistent and dance-able rhythmic pulse.

No doube many performances of the same piece would have created the opportunity for many versions.

    J.

  • Thanks so much! Jen

  • beautiful Jen!thanks for your flute-site!the best in the world!!!!Alberto Barletta 1flute RAI symphony Orchestra Italy.

  • I love the ravel...its nice with the guitar accomp!!! just such a beautiful piece :)

  • Very lovely indeed! Expressive, vivid, & technically wonderful ... I would encourage you to savor and caress the emotions even a bit more. Perhaps needs a bit more rubato for full expression during the more sultry phrases IMHO as a vocalist ... I think that's what Kubeface might be looking for. Enjoyed it immensely!

  • beautiful. :)

a little bit faster than i like it but that's a very minor criticism. you are both talented indeed.

  • Beautiful

    Thanks for posting

    Best wihes

  • I know next to nothing about the flute nor do I know much about the guitar, but I found the guitar part very messy compared to the gorgeous flute performance you gave. And Ravel doesn't need that much rubato. The guy hated people tampering with his music.

  • Thanks for posting this! You've been a great inspiration since I found out about you and your website back in 2004, and its nice to hear you play!
