  • I'm 18 years old, and I think I can handle my own money more responsibly than the government. I don't want to be forced to pay into a system that is BROKEN to pay someone else's benefits when I know I'm getting the short end of the stick. Give my generation a choice: pay into Social Security and depend on the government later on, or be responsible for your own future. Sure older folks love Social Security because they're about to cash in, but what about the rest of us?

  • Social security is not the greatest idea in my opinion, in some ways it is good but its basically giving people money that don't have jobs and can't support there family! Well get a job, go to college, get a good paying job. My friends mom has 9 kids and is prego again, she doesn't work she's been unemplayed for 9 years and she is getting money from the government. That's not right, get a job, do something in life, get your name heard. Maybe the employment will go up if we got rid of it? who kno
