  • I was fortunate enough to have performed with the U.S. Marine Corps Band for a number of years, so obviously I'm very partial to Sousa Marches, but I have to admit that this is one of the most beautiful, and moving pieces of music I've ever heard. (Loved the movie too!) Thanks for posting this, especially ALL of it.

  • @skymaster336 You are welcome! :D

  • glory to the brave 15th army

  • if Montys xxx corps hadn't stopped to sip tea,we could have had a chance.

  • market garden wasn't a total loss, they still killed plenty of the goose stepping nazi bastards.

    master race my ass. AIRBORNE!

  • i love the last scene the little kid took a rifle from a grave lol

  • Besides the overture to TORN CURTAIN, what other music of John Addison is featured in YOUTUBE?

  • The first notes remind of the "Pavane pour une infante défunte", by Maurice Ravel.

  • happy song

  • I can say that this movie is what got me interested in World War Two because i saw the movie several time and i then read the books A Bridge Too Far, The Longest Day, and then The Last Battle by Cornelius Ryan! i now loved history because of this movie!
