Au Revoir Les Enfants Part 9

Summary: During WWII, in a Catholic boarding school in the French countryside, two boys become friends. One is a Catholic boy, Julien Quintin, and the other is a Jewish boy, Jean Bonnet, who is being hidden from the Nazis by the friars who run the school.

Pendant le WWII, dans un internat catholique dans la campagne française, deux garçons deviennent des amis. On est un garçon français, Julien Quintin, et l'autre est un garçon juif, Jean Bonnet, qui est caché des par les moines qui dirigent l'école.

C'est une tres bonne film. Je l'aime. Nous l'avons regardé à ma classe de francais mais je n'etait pas la pour le fin.

J'adore la bande sonore d'Au Revoir les Enfants. En utilisant la mélodie simple que Julien joue sur la piano est brillant, et il ajoute un élément d'étrangeté à la scene.

Julien did not "betray" Jean willingly, it was a kind of an accident.

In fact I think he aleady knew that Jean was a Jew, or at least that he feared to be captured, he really was his friend and like you can see in the following bedroom scene, he felt guilty for what happened.

it was very nice for jean to teach julient how to learn about the piano lesson. also they read a book together at night time. then, in class. ooh, very scared. he found out that jean was jewish and send him out...
