  • A lot of the runs I make on acoustic or electric six string guitars sound like runs on a bass--wonder if I ought to buy a bass and see how I feel about playing a bass as my primary instrument----but don't think I could write songs with bass could I?

  • @micmoable - I have no idea if you can write songs... but if you can, you can write them on a bass.

  • @BassGuitarMag I am a songwriter and definitely know how to write decent lyrics for songs---but seems like bass wouldn't be full enough for songwriting? How would you go about it with a bass?
