  • There are a few things wrong with this video....first you try to show that this is "identical" to the Pintech.....not so, the Pintech's box is open on the side that touches the cymbal, the trigger (piezo) is resting against the plastic cymbal.

  • With this box design, the trigger is MUCH less sensitive, the strike has to go through the cymbal, through the adhesive that sticks the box to the cymbal, the box/lid, then adhesive that holds the trigger in place, finally to the trigger.....there's NO WAY it could be as sensitive!

Notice that he doesn’t plug his cymbal into the same input as the Pintech TC…..he plugs into the hi hat…..it is easy to make it look like it is triggering equally when you have the sensitivity turned up!

  • He says his cymbals are made out of the same material….also not true…..Pintech’s TCs are polypropylene, his are PVC, Pintech’s R&D found that PVC cymbals were prone to breaking/cracking because the PVC was too rigid, polypropylene, though thinner, flexes and will not break…..

Not that it’s a simple solution, but let’s keep it real!

  • I looked you up on ebay, NO SUCH ID LISTED

  • and what about to ship to Europe? In my country (Hungary) I can't buy any of these practise cymbals. How can i find it on the Ebay ? what is these cymbals name ?
