Before saying this is Circus. pliz try to know 1st, wat is Martial arts and Circus?
This is one of the High practice style of our Martial arts?
Remember every step/movement has trick in our life.

It see many people say such silly things and juggle words. This is one part of a tradition and some low class people judge what it can do by this one video. Just puffed up egotists. I wish the practitioners of this style the best and respect for the years of training that goes into it.

wow...it requires great skill 2 perform. it is certainly a play of steps but u cant label it a circus. pliz pay some respect 2 d person who hv dedicated years of practice n hard work 2 perform dis wid precision.

@bratkotenka no , no and again NO .. this is not a NAGA martial art. its a meitei Art form call thang ta. You learn the martial art then you practise all this kind of trick and art. Its an art ... to teach you how to fight in the dark coz during ancient time there were no illumination rounds available nor were there flash/ search light...

wtf does this have to do with martial arts? this is sideshow circus freak antics. This is why its best to stick to karate and other japanese forms and leave or derivatives of it alone. this is good as street art as a performer for money but bad for budo. no skill displayed that can be considered self defense or fighting. boo!

I have seen thang ta competitions in our home town !! they are one of the best, they literally fight with whatever they get hold of, things used in rural North East India. This martial art from Manipur definitely is one of the cultural heritage of India.

I'm not beeing silly. Myself I do Karate, and I've seen many many fighters and styles. I hope you know why I'm suspisions about this. This will never help anyone defend one. Its to much, to much of art. Maybe its just like a "kate" - a proof of skill but not a Martial art.
