@TheDJLITIO any turntable is compatable as long as it has aux out (red and white cables) even vinyl turntables have vinyl control discs you can buy.

@TheDJLITIO You can buy software called serato. it is similar to virtual dj but you have to have turntables or a controller. it comes with control cd's that have sound pitches that communicate with the software through an audio converter box that you get when you buy the it. the software then outputs the the audio either to an audio set up or back into a mixer thus allowing you to control the music on your laptop computer etc alll while using top of the line equpiment such as the pioneer cdj's

can u connect the cdj 800 to a laptop and use a program such as viertual dj to play the songs and control the program with the cdjs??

It is a record. Any recording is a record. While record can also mean "gramophone record disk" or "vinyl", it's not limited to that definition. I don't like to use the terms "song" or "track", because "song" implies a music recording with lyrics, and "track" is too ambiguous.
