I did 1 year with Vale....

    Hold the line.

Some fights you win some you loose.

But if you don't fight your gonna loose a lot more.

    And Vale still sucks.

The big strike of 09 taught them they have no idea how to run a mine. Before the strike we made them billions, Now we don't function anymore as a team no trust low productivity.

  • I am an ex worker of US Borax, I left a few years ago. I am sorry you have to put up with these ass holes. They have no idea. Good Luck to You!!

  • A fellow union brother from the Real Tainted Aluminum smelter up in Kitimat, BC, Canada supports you all. I am CAW Local 2301. Our contract is up in July 2012, I have a feeling we'll be in the same situation as you.

I am proud. to be a union worker! If I could, I would come down and join you in support.

  • Go Boron! If the rest of the world wants to work for 9.70 an hour and no benefits, I guess that's their right.
