AxeFX thru new Atomic FR - Fake Little Wing

My fudged rendition of Little Wing. I really should learn it, everyone else seems to know it cold:) This is my first testing with the AxeFX (a low gain Plexi patch) running through the new Atomic FR powered FRFR cab. It's hard to present an "in the room" feel with a camcorder, but this is a great match for the AxeFX imho. It would probably work great with other modelers that benefit from FRFR powered with a tube power section.

Any chance of more demos of modeling devices through the Atomic FR? There are so few of them available online, and this one was great.

Yes, I am back in business after a major sell off to try other things. I also have my camcorder dialed in a little better, but once again you are not getting a 10th of what it sounds like in the room unfortunately. Killer combo, AxeFX + Atomic FR.

Even on Youtube I can hear 3-dimensionality which is missing from my amp+cab solution and other FR setups I have tried. Can't wait to get mine this week! :)

I think you're going to love it. I'm not happy with the quality of camcorder/YouTube compression, but at least it gives a taste of the 'in the room' vibe everyone is looking for. I just did a clean Blackface demo, that might sound a little better. Anyway, this Atomic FR kicks serious ass!

A friend of mine who is a virtuoso is selling off his ENGL Powerball with the cabinet to get the Axe Fx Ultra. It's beyond amazing. I have the Axe Fx Ultra it sounds amazing man... Even when connected to studio monitors it sounds awesome. This combination of the Atomic Fr Cab or Atomic Power amp is extremely killer man. Go for it. You won't regret it.

@jeffdisario You can get the Atomic Cab as a passive cabinet which is without the 50 Watts Monoblock or the Active cabinet which has it inside. So the answer is YES the Active Cab also works as a power amp :)

What are diferent in the ULTRA and STANDARD. Only more effects and more memory? Is it worth it?

At first I was going to buy an ENGL e570 but I only read great things about this magic box...

Probably referring to the FBT Verve 12ma (I tried it, much prefer the Atomic FR for more warmth, much better low end response and silky highs) and/or the QSC K10 (or 12) -- I was going to go that route but decided I might as well go full on with Fractal rig.
