  • @Blueknightex even the roman music the dance the arts in general grown up on exemple of the etruscan one. Etruscans were great artists musicians dancers and fashion designers too. They were really important for the development of Roman Empire. For the punic wars the etruscans built the warships to the romans.

They were the first real italian civilization! who loves Roman Empire should love first of all etruscans. Without them there hadn't been Rome.

  • @Blueknightex yes etruscans were before Roman Empire and they'd very influenced the roman culture and development. Rome first of all during the Monarchy was essenctially an etruscan city it had three Etruscan Kings with etruscan workers inside to build temples homes streets with etruscans scutlures architects etc. The latin even had influenced by etruscan language in those period.

Roman development was based initially on etruscan iventions as bridges doors acquedots etc.

  • @MachuPicchuTours not really :) The Credits rather belong to Etruscans, Pelasgians and Sumerians ;-)

  • I would have lived there!

  • what puzzles me is what happened to the people who lived there? why would they just up and leave. I don't know about back then, but nowadays when you vacate your house and move somewhere else, you pack up all your things and go. Even if the family who lived there died, I'm sure someone should have inherited the things they found lying around there. Very puzzling!

  • Italy and Greece have sooooo much history to share!

    Saludos from Machu Picchu, Peru!
