This is my cover version of the song "Makin' Whoopie" that I recorded with my close friend, Andi Cocozza. The song was featured on the soundtrack to the hit film "Sleepless In Seattle" and was originally performed by Dr. John and Ricki Lee Jones. "Makin' Whoopie!" is a jazz/blues song, first popularized by Eddie Cantor in the 1928 musical Whoopee!. Walter Donaldson wrote the music and Gus Kahn the lyrics for the song. We had a lot of fun recording this and we hope you enjoy the final product!
