jimmy clausen was with a horrible notre dame team and he unluckily got picked with the panthers and the reason they are starting newton is because he is getting paid all this money and its common sense why would you not start a guy your paying some millions dollars common sense you jackasses

@NoFunniNamesLeft As of now Clausens done in Carolina, Derek Anderson is Cams back-up currently and Cam is playing great. Also, the receivers were the only bright spot (Steve Smith we know is good and rookies Brandon LaFell, and David Gettis played well) were on the offense of that horrible year, they just had know one to throw them the ball and that O-line is one of the best in the NFL. Two years ago the same O-line allowed for 2 1,100 rushers, Jimmy just held on to the ball way to long.

Jimmy Clausen was thrown as a rookie to the worst team in the NFL at the time. Worst OLine worst DLine ... horrible recievers. Even Tom Brady would have a hard time making good numbers with an offence like that. I wouldn't be surprised if Clausen has a breakout season and suddenly is that quarterback they wanted his rookie season. Now what do they do?

@Jatawn13 Dumb thing to say. Clausen has one NFL year under his belt. Cam? None. Sure the kid's got talent but that doesn't trump experience. Look for Clausen to light 'em up this year.

If you think about it, the Panthers have got one hell of a two headed monster now. With Clausen's accuracy and Newtons legs, shit. Let these two start working together and look out.
