@VeRsEcHiLd I think it's because Earl hadn't long since joined TNA and as always he (and his character) carries the baggage of the MSJ around with him, so I think they were using that to promote the possibility that Earl had once again turned bad and was in Zybrysko and Jarrett's pockets - I think the storyline later revealed in a confusing manner that Earl hadn't intended to push the ladder over but had been aware of the screwjob that Jarrett and Zybysko had devised - I think...
