you are without doubt the most prepared person in the world. If I were you I would just live off grid for the rest of my life.

I saw a cool video in south America where they mount a 2 liter bottle of water/bleach in the ceiling and sealed around it and it puts out 65 watts of solar light. During the day at least.

Southernprepper1 and all other preppers, you are now considered terrorists by FBI because you are buying food in bulk which is a suspective act.

I'm very concerned about windows. Most of my house is brick but the windows are an easy target. In even less serious conditions they're an easy target when even a kid with a rock can bust them for fun when he doesn't have to worry cause we are WROL. 3/4" plywood and sandbags are the only thing I have come up with. Any ideas?

@southernprepper1 If your lighting doesn't work, for going around your last resort is to find a blind man in the day and ask him to join your homestead for WROL times.

having an AR when the in laws show up is useful,

The red can with sand is an excellent idea! In a pinch, I have used cat litter to put out a small fire.
Just wanted to say I'm really enjoying working my way through all of your video's. There are some great channels out there but I think your topics, approach and attitude completely rock!!! Thanks sp1 from europe

Great video, as usal SP1! Here in Alaska with 24 daylight in the summer, we cover the windows with tin foil. It blocks 100% of the light. Put it directly on the glass with tape. Hard plumbed propane lights work great. A single 100# bottle lasts all winter. I love the sound of propane lights. I burn heating oil in kerosene lamps. Smells a little but it's 1/4 the money. I use old bottles for candle lanterns. I water-break the bottom, make a wood base with vent holes and a wire handle from the neck

@duckworthy69 Thanks for sharing this...hopefully we dont have to use your advise but if we do it could help someone stay warm plus I like the candle in the coffee can safer less chance for fire. Thanks
