  • What a great side! Played a bit faster than the Victor and a lot hotter!

  • Yes, it's my favorite version. I think it's even a little better than the Sammy Stewart version on Vocalion, even though they are using the same chart.

  • Have Broadway 1200 ("Hold Everything") by Haid & His Cubs. They had Great Instrumentation and Arranging.

  • Very nice!

  • This is a stock arrangement that Bill and the Boys are playing (which was commonplace in those days). My orchestra plays this very chart.

    Great recording.

  • The only lp reissue I know of this band is two titles on an Arcadia lp.-Shake It Down and Weary Weasel. Those are the only 2 songs I had heard by this band as I don't have any of their original 78's. I hadn't heard Crazy Rhythm before by this band. Thanks for posting this great recording. Good guitar solo.

  • thats my great grandfather!

  • This is rare, cool and groovy. I've never come across either Bill Haid or a Broadway 78!
