Capitalising on the ever-thriving reality television market, Goldman is a feature length Mockumentary that looks at a reality TV star who begins to suspect his life is an elaborate reality TV program, developing the psychological condition known as the Truman Show Delusion.

Mike Goldman is the ultimate character for this story; hosting one of Australia's most established reality TV shows, Big Brother, Mike inherently carries the stigma of reality TV. Utilizing Mike's pre-developed celebrity, we will explore audience gullibility by combining actual tales from Mike's life with fictional plot points.

The beautiful irony is that the audience will be asking the same questions about this film as Mike's character is about his life in the film; blurring the lines between reality and fiction; is this real or is this fake- is he the star of a reality TV show, or is it all a paranoid delusion.

Filmmaker Tony is hired to document Mike's attempt to shed his TV personality persona and make the leap into dramatic acting. As we follow Mike's journey into the pretend world of fiction and his career begins to blossom he begins to loose his grasp on reality. So the quest for fame shifts to a search for proof that his existence is real- with deadly consequences.

This film will also be distributed virally, allowing for three possible conclusions, comparable to the classic 'choose your own adventure' series of books. This interactive film experience will allow the audience to choose an ending at random and decide which ending they like the most rather than director or studio finalising that decision.
