  • Without a doubt Sam Harris is my favourite Atheistic speaker. Really thoughtful, engaging & even properly humurous at times. I've disagreed with Hitchens & Dawkins on several occasions yet, I've never had a gripe with Harris.

    Thanks for the upload mate!

  • Atheism and agnosticism are two separate things. You are not one or the other. In fact, it is very plausible that you can be an agnostic atheist.

  • @anythingnew A blender... A bottle of aids... errrr... A small child in a car that's about to fall off a cliff... hmmmmmm... A dick shaped plug socket... Lorena Bobbitt (google it)... A moving train... A bear... A coal fire... An electric pencil sharpener... Anything in outer space... Bruce Lee... A japanese fighting spider... Your own ear... I know it sounds counterintuitive but there's lots of thing that aren't a good idea to fuck.

  • @lord69z Well there's no question that Hitchens was an absolute Titan. I've got to the point now that the issue of whether Religion is a good or bad thing has been settled. When I watch these debates now I tend to be hypercritical of the Atheist speaker's social attitude (I just ignore the religious speaker altogether). Watching PWNage (I hate that term) is fun but these days I get more out of Krauss, Harris & Fry.

  • Good to hear Sam applying a Wittgensteinian approach to language games. He easily refutes religious fundamentalists & dogmatic relativists. As usual, I endorse his idealism. However, as a pragmatic relativist, I observe that science in the ‘real’ world is now subordinated to political & financial agendas. What about omnipotent capitalist fundamentalists? They are fanatically obsessed with the God of profit. I wish Sam would focus his next erudite attack on these enemies of science & morality.

  • @mikeymikemikey1 I'm asking you for a simple list. Even 1 item will do.

  • @MrLittletomdj Hitchens was the man. Take no prisoners.

  • @anythingnew yeah see, so I'm out

  • @mikeymikemikey1 What are the disadvantages?
