  • All Juan Williams ever talks about in his interviews is race. He's an articulate, thoughtful newsman. The President's cabinet is not about choosing people to racially represent the population; it's to find the best people for the job, regardless of color. I find this obsession about race tedious and counter-productive.

  • Juan Williams fits my radio image of him pretty closely but Scott Simon I always pictured with a kind of mousy blonde bowl cut and lots of freckles and glasses. I have these images of all the NPR people and 90% of them don't look anything like they sound, and then I see them and the I hear them and I still think of my original ideas, like the Car Talk guys.

  • You can skip the post, but you really should de-interlace the still shot you use for a poster. Juan doesn't look so good with those lines coming out of his forehead.

  • I love that you guys are starting to expand out towards this medium. Yes (I agree Charles) please get a mic on these interviews but, skip the post production and make them very candid. thanks, folks.

  • I think that Pres. Elect Obama would have an even harder time establishing his credibility with whites and minorities if he did appoint a more "diverse" cabinet. Personally, I think that he has to have people behind him that know the ropes and have the connections to get things done in Washington. That will also help Mr. Obama in his 2012 re-election bid. If the Democrats are to hold on to power in this country, we have to be seen as a party who can actually accomplish the goals that we have set

  • perhaps you could improve the audio quality??
