On the 15th of November 1976 American
journalist Mark Hosenball was served a deportaion notice, a few days later Phillip Agee Ex CIA operative and radical journalist was served a similar order. Both had been connected with a series of articles about the British and American Intelligence Services featured in Time Out Magazine. One of these entitled the Eavesdroppers co-authored by Duncan Campbell infuriated the powers that be and may indeed have been the basis of these deportation notices, as they couldn't hit Campbell directly. Though of course this was never admitted. This brief documentary short outlines some of the facts and circumstances of this remarkable piece of recent history that ocurred Thirty years ago.
Part Two sees the Intelligence service further embroiling itself in the notorious ABC case.
