2008 MADMEN Video Contest - My Entry

MADMEN, the highly acclaimed AMC television series, held a contest recently. The winner appears in a show next season. The outcome was determined by popular vote. Alas, I unfortunately do not have 400+ friends, but did receive some wonderful feedback on my entry which was done entirely in my NYC apartment by just me, myself and I. Back-story: They provided the script, and asked us to deliver a one minute or less 'interpretation' of it. In keeping with the feel of the era in which the show is set, the early 1960's, I heard this following monologue (originally spoken by character Roger Sterling) as a song. This is my melody and these are his words, verbatim. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
