Great Hanoi Project

Implementation of Resolution No. 15/2008/QH12 adjust the administrative boundaries of Hanoi and some provinces concerned by the National Assembly issued, and Decision No. 1878/QD-TTg the Prime Minister on approved mission planning on construction of the Hanoi Capital to 2030 with a vision to 2050, Ministry of Construction held a recruitment consultant international planning on construction of the capital Hanoi. On September 23, 2008, in Document No. 1585/TTg-KTN, the Government approved list selected international consultant Contact PPJ (Perkins Eastman United States, POSCO E & C and JINA South Korea) is a unit established planning.

After the process of research projects are implemented according to schedule, the Ministry of Construction reported permanent government three times (one was on April 24, 2009, was second on August 21, 2009, at 3 26 / 11/2009). In the course of research project, content projects have been further studied in more detail and focus on the conclusion of the meeting 1, 2 and 3 of the Prime Minister announced in official document 144 / TB-VPCP, 279/TB-VPCP, 348/TB-VPCP, 29/TT-VPCP respectively. In the process of planning, the Ministry of Construction coordinating with the Peoples Committee of Hanoi has guided the international join-named consultant PPJ to work with Ministries, branches and organizations, to hear opinions of domestic and international specialists, scientists, and professional associations (Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association, Vietnam Association of Architects, Association of Cities of Vietnam, Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations, Vietnam History Science Association, The Cultural Heritage Association of Vietnam, The association of Construction Environment,) . The hearing opinions of various professional associations and organizations has been and will continues to be conducted several times and their opinions will be absorbed into the plan by the Consultant before the submission of the plan to the Parliament.

WikiHanoi and Ashui.com (Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association) coordinate the establishment of this Web site for the purpose of introducing the main aspects of The Hanoi Capital Master Plan to 2030 and vision to 2050 to get comments extensively by agencies, organizations, businesses, professionals and the people at home and abroad to complete Project.

I am a boy that born and growing up in Hanoi. I think that when we watch this clip, what we see is not Hanoi at all!!! It look... strange, look like Seoul or somewhere else! In this clip we cannot find the traditional values!!!!!!

@narutopower10 Wow, you visited Vietnam! good good for you. I've been living here for 4 years and the fact is the Hanoi people use the sidewalks as a toilet and the city planning is a disaster. There are lots of nice people here but many government officials take bribes and don't really do any work "for the people". The Vietnamese people have lots of big plans but nothing is going to change while the commies are in charge. Keep loving Vietnam, but don't get in bed with a government official.

Ha ha... This is going to hapen by 2050? Hilarious! Perhaps the first step is teaching the locals to pick up their garbage. Step two stop using the sidewalk as a toilet. Never going to hapen as long as the current government is in charge.
