unfortunately, through nafta we are completely dependant on each other. A food shortage is coming in which millions will starve to death and chaos will ensue. Look up the information about climategate and see that they will soon control, if you have seeds, your ability to grow anything in your own back yard.

The day is coming when we will consume a "mush" from a bag that will be considered our food. Right after our delicious "liquid gruel" breakfast, we'll be given a pill at work which will allow us to work in an "emotionless and painless" state, and will be at the mercy of the corporation during the 10 to 16 hour work day. just dont buy their seed and they will go belly up (thats the easy thing to say). The problem is that their GMO plants encroach onto non GMO, then Monsanto and alike file suits against the non GMO farmer because there was a trace of GMO on his land.

What a bunch of quacks with no true knowledge of science. The Terminator seed has never been commercialized. It was created to stop genetic pollution but never implemented because of farmer dependency to seed suppliers. If it comes from a Liberals mouth, you better quadruple check the facts.

@largraf The problem is as always separating the true plots from the supposed conspiracies. I can go on, but everyone knows that there is a push on by the elite of this world for a One-World government. GMO's are tied to that.

@fsmorel123 I am a realist also. And unfortunately there are several conspiracy theories to choose from. All they all false? Could some be true? Has any small group ever tried to take power over a  large group before. The other unfortunate circumstance today is that almost anyone can label a theory as a conspiracy and the theory immediately loses some validity. But looking into humanity's past and it is easily seen that there have been numerable conspiracies. Hitler, Pearl Harbor, etc...

@largraf plants in a non-GMO field getting polluted by plants from a GMO field. It may be unstoppable! It is still possible to eat healthy and that's one of the things I preach at church's. But the FDA just approved genetic modification of 'alfalfa'. Staying away from GMO ingredients will become more difficult. THE GOVERNMENT MY EVEN MAKE IT ILLEGAL! That's the direction it's working at right now.

@fsmorel123 I'm not on facebook. College students in the U.S. especially need to know the truth about GMO'S. I study naturopathy. I have already sent out my prediction that in 15 to 20 years, approx 30% of Americans will have cancer. Why? When you get into nutrition, you realize that our cell's DNA is constantly replicating. With toxic elements introduced into chromosomes, there is a tipping point at which most DNA will incorporate toxic pesticide genes. At this point it will be like ...
